With the ability to have up to 38 athletes on the mat at a time, these teams can cover all nine mats at The Cheerleading Worlds with impressive stunt sequences and visual pyramids. The four fan-favorite teams that make up the division will fill any performance venue they compete in so the pressure is on and there's no room for mistakes if you want to take home the championship title.
Only five teams have ever won gold in Large Senior: Cheer Athletics Panthers, Maryland Twisters F5, World Cup Shooting Stars, Cheer Extreme Senior Elite, and The Stingray Allstars Orange.
The Shooting Stars have topped the division the most with six Senior Large wins, their most recent win in 2019.
In 2022, The Stingray Allstars Orange made history by going back-to-back and winning their tenth world championship title. Their first seven World Championship wins came in the Senior Small and Senior Medium divisions.
This season has proven no different in regards to talent across the division as each Large Senior team has taken home a first-place title from the beginning of the season until now.
It's anyone's game as the four teams head to Orlando to battle for the prestigious division title at The Cheerleading Worlds 2024.
