Top Gun Cheer is set to compete in what is the 20th anniversary of The Cheerleading Worlds. The program, which has gyms throughout the country and even one in the United Kingdom, has won 25 world championships. 

Yes, Top Gun Cheer has made Walt Disney World its home away from home since 2004.

How Many Cheerleading Championships Does Top Gun Cheer Have?

According to the Top Gun Cheer site, they count 25 world championships in program history. 

TGLC, the gym's Senior Large Coed team has won The Cheerleading Worlds eight times, most recently claiming gold in the division for three years in a row.

At Cheer Worlds, which started in 2004, Top Gun counts 24 Cheerleading Worlds Championships including a tie for one in 2021.

Top Gun TGLC will compete at Cheer Worlds in the L6 Senior Large Coed Semi-Finals on Sunday, April 28 at 7:07 PM ET in AdventHealth Arena South.

Finals for the division will take place on Monday, April 29 at 3:30 PM ET.

How Did Top Gun All Stars TGLC Do At NCA All-Star?

Top Gun TGLC took second at the 2024 NCA All-Star National Championship with a final event score of 98.1375. Cheer Athletics Cheetahs took the top spot in the division with a score of 98.85.
