The first 2024 champions at the Cheerleading Worlds championships in Orlando, Florida at Disney World is the Cheer Athletics-Denver's Black Ice Team. 

The team from the Rocky Mountains advanced to the finals with a fifth-place ranking in the prelims and first-place ranking in the semifinals of the L6-U18 Coed Non-Tumbling division. After scoring 105.65 in the prelims and following it up by hitting zero in the semifinals and finishing with a score of 119.5, Black Ice cruised in the finals

The team won the finals with a score of 125.9 and once again hit zero in their routine. 

Cheer Athletics winning a championship first at Cheer Worlds is poetic as Cheer Athletics was one of two champions at the first Cheer Worlds in 2004. In total, this is Cheer Athletics' 33rd world championship at Cheer Worlds.
