Brynn King - Woodlands Elite Alumni
Woodlands Elite alumni Brynn King is set to compete on the U.S. Olympic pole vault team. King secured her spot on the U.S. Olympic team after nailing a career-best of 4.73 metes (15-feet, 6 1/4-inches) at the U.S. Olympic Trails in June. That career-best allowed King to move from eighth place to third place to earn her spot on the U.S. Olympic team! She attends Roberts Wesleyan University where she was the 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Pole Vault National Champion. Brynn King spent many years as a flyer at Woodlands Elite before she decided to give pole vaulting a try during her junior year of high school. King grew up in the Woodlands Elite cheer program from minis to Colonels, to eventually the Worlds-team level on both Black Ops and Generals. Keep an eye out for King in the women's pole vault qualification on August 5, and the women's pole vault finals set for August 7.
Five years ago as a high schooler, Brynn King had her eyes set on clearing 14 feet in the pole vault.

The former Spirit of Texas A-Team athlete is heading to Paris on Team USA for both the triple jump and long jump. She made history as the first U.S. woman to qualify for the Olympics in both the long jump and triple jump. At this year's qualifier, she made a season-best long jump of 6.98m and a triple jump of 14.26m. This will be Moore's second Olympic games as she represented the U.S. in the 2020 Olympics where she finished 12th in the qualifying round of the triple jump. Moore attended the University of Florida where she won multiple NCAA & SEC titles. Jasmine Moore was on the 2016 Spirit of Texas A-Team that won both NCA All-Star Nationals and The Cheerleading Worlds.
