The NCA All-Star National Championship, one of the biggest events in the all star cheerleading world, is set to have a new location from 2026-2028. 

The iconic competition will be moving to Houston, TX at the George R. Brown Convention Center and Toyota Center for 2026, 2027, and 2028. Varsity said the competition had to pivot and move to Houston due to new construction updates from the City of Dallas.

The event was previously announced to be held in January 2026 in Dallas, TX. The upcoming 2025 NCA All-Star Nationals will not be effected and will still take place in Dallas, TX from Feb. 28 - March 2, 2025. 

NCA All-Star Nationals Moved To Houston, TX For 2026-2028

Justin Carrier, Vice President of Competition Experience for Varsity said in a post, "While we initially planned to keep the event in Dallas and host it in early January of 2026, we've had to pivot due to the new construction updates from the City of Dallas. 

This move to Houston also helps ensure that the 2026 NCA All-Star National Championship can retain its traditional spot at the end of February."

The NCA All-Star National Championship continues to be one of the most anticipated events of the all star cheer season. For this season's competition, 1,750 teams registered in just 6.5 minutes! 

The original event venue in Dallas, TX at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center is set to undergo renovations to create a new space. 

Varsity says they "want to ensure our event maintains its exceptional scale and experience for everyone involved." 

Varsity plans to share more details soon about the 2026 NCA All-Star Nationals, but also continues to shift focus to the upcoming 2025 event season. This upcoming February also marks the 30th anniversary of NCA All-Star Nationals.
