They say everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes the success Cheer Athletics has had on the world stage, including nearly three dozen wins at The Cheerleading Worlds.

The group will be back at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida, to see if it can add to its legacy in 2025. 

This year’s event will take place from April 25-28, and FloCheer will be on-site to bring you all of the action, meaning that even if you can’t be there in person, you won’t miss a minute of the fun.

Cheer Athletics hails from Plano, Texas, which is just a few minutes outside of Dallas. 

At The Cheerleading Worlds 2024, Cheer Athletics also had one of the 10 most-watched routines of the entire event. Cheer Athletics – Panthers came in at No. 8 with a memorable L6 Senior Large performance.

The championships for Cheer Athletics at The Cheer Worlds 2024 came in the L6 International Small Coed (Cheer Athletics – Plano – Swooshcats), L6 Senior Large (Cheer Athletics Panthers), and the L6 U18CNT (Cheer Athletics – Denver – Black Ice) categories.

The Cheerleading Worlds debuted in 2004 with 14 teams and now welcomes more than 500 teams (over 10,500 athletes) from nearly 25 nations. As of March 8, there are 563 teams (11,883 cheerleaders) from 21 countries registered to compete in Orlando.

The weekend also will include The Dance Worlds 2025, which is being held simultaneously at the nearby Coronado Springs Resort & Convention Center.
