It's hard to believe that teams are already talking about The Cheerleading and Dance World Championships when the competitions are still months away…but who can help it. They are a pretty big deal.

If you're a die-hard cheer and dance fan you know who made waves in the sport of all star cheer and dance last spring, and you've got your ear to the ground in anticipation of their moves this season. We've been tuning into showcases and doing some impromptu gym visits in hopes of catching a glimpse of fresh new teams and athletes vying for the world title.

Let's just say -- some of these teams want it more than ever.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves -- if you weren't plugged into Worlds last year, you don't really know what to expect. So who's on Top of the World right now? We're glad you asked, and each week we're going to tell you. We'll be posting full routines of the top 10 teams in each division weekly, so you can get a refresher on who's the reigning team on top and which teams are set to breakthrough and shake things up.
