It's not gossip--Blake Lively really was a high school cheerleader. The former "Gossip Girl" star proved it with a throwback picture on Instagram. Celebrities are just like us, right?

In the picture, Lively is holding one of her cheer teammates on her shoulders. Lively, now 29, cheered at Burbank High School in Los Angeles. Fun fact: During the same time period this picture was likely taken, Lively was already in the midst of filming "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." 

Lively wasn't just a cheerleader in high school, either. She was also class president and in the championship choir. Sounds to us like a regular Serena van der Woodsen.
