"The Horned Frogs" already sound like a made-for-Halloween nickname. And TCU's dance team and cheerleaders put the school over the top in the scare department over the weekend.

On Saturday, the university's Showgirls dance squad and cheerleaders performed along to Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" at halftime of the football team's game. They absolutely killed it, which is saying something because werewolves are pretty hard to kill. The TCU ladies didn't even need a silver bullet--just some serious choreography.

Even the mascots got in on the action. "Super Frog" wore a red leather jacket a la MJ from the song's video, and it was everything. Also, was that a werewolf mask on a male cheerleader thrown in there for good measure?

It was an overall excellent performance by both teams, and arguably the highlight of the weekend for Horned Frogs fans. TCU lost to rival Texas Tech, 27-24, in Forth Worth to fall to 4-4.
