Level 4 teams were tearing up the mat at the Battle At The Beach in Myrtle Beach this weekend and one team in particular caught our eye with a little extra sass. It was the ECE Level 4 Senior Coed team coached by two NCA Instructors, Ben Weeter and Shayne Simahk.

Ben told us their movement between levels has been tough. With some athletes leaving the team the group decided moving to Level 4 from Senior Restricted 5 was the right thing to do for the remainder of the season.
It's been a long journey, but after changing the choreography to suit a level 4 team and working back up to a performance ready team, they've seen success. The team earned a 4th place finish out of eight teams - not too shabby!

The team has one more competition left in 2017, and hopes to earn a Summit bid to close out the season with one final hoorah. Good luck, ECE!
It's been a really challenging year for them. But they keep stepping up and working hard to make each performance better.
