The University of Kentucky Dance team is back and better than ever! Coached by Head Coach Dawn Walters and Assistant Coach Erin Acevedo, the Wildcats are ready for the 2017-18 season to be just as successful as the last.

In 2017, the Wildcats had an incredible season! After college nationals, Kentucky Dance continued their success as they were selected to represent USA Dance as the U.S. National Hip Hop and Pom squads. When the Wildcats traded in their Kentucky Blue for red, white and blue they earned the silver medal in both divisions!

Being a part of Kentucky Dance gets even better, when you aren't taking the competition mat, you are dancing for one of the best basketball teams in the nation!

The 2017-18 University of Kentucky Dance team is made up of 47 athletes. The team is then separated into two groups, Blue Squad & White Squad. When it comes time to choose the team for UDA College Nationals, the dancers can come from either squad.

Kentucky Dance is made up of a total of 12 freshmen, 15 sophomores, 7 juniors and 13 seniors; in total this season, there are 13 new dancers on the team!
