Congratulations to the 2017 IOAG5 World Champions, Flyers Knockout!

This exciting division kickstarted Worlds on April 29th with the Canadian Worlds Trials before moving on to the Semi-Final and Final portions of the competition. Cheer Sport Sharks, an impressive squad from Canada that continues to stay on the podium, was in first coming out of the Canadian Trials.

Cheer Sport Great White Sharks have become a force to be reckoned with every year after taking the division title in 2014 and 2015 at The Cheerleading Worlds.

The Sharks were in the lead coming out of the Canadian Trials and Semi-Finals in Orlando, but an unfortunate stunt fall in the elite sequence prevented them from claiming their third world title. However, the Great Whites didn't let one small mistake keep them down. The Sharks turned up their performance and finished their dynamic routine to take home the silver medal.

The California All Stars Sparkle were crowned world champions in 2016 but fell short of a repeat in 2017. Sparkle's opening tumbling and paper doll pyramid earned them the bronze medal and a spot on the podium.
