XS Team On The Rise: Star Athletics Sr. Red
Star Athletics Senior Red will compete to be one of the first level 5 teams to bring home a Worlds globe in the XS division!
History will be made in 2018 as teams made up of 5-14 members compete in the newest division: the XS division!
USASF introduced the XS in early 2017. This new division will give smaller teams a great opportunity to compete against teams of the same size. One team that you'll see compete for the first-ever XS World's globe is Star Athletics Senior Red!
When the new division was announced, head coach Lee Grobstein knew this was the perfect fit for their Level 5 team. Senior Red has 13 members who are ready to show off their routine filled with exciting standing tumbling.

"We put an emphasis on high energy, showing off the variety of specialty standing and running tumbling the team has," Grobstein shared.
Star Athletics has put a huge focus on teaching their athletes about servanthood. All Senior Red athletes have been volunteering hours working with the other teams in the program, learning their names, helping them during stunt training or teaching them "The Star Way" from technique to showmanship.
"The team is striving for a strong start of the season which can help them earn a bid to Worlds," Grobstein said. "It is every Level 5 athlete's dream to place well but the team is more focused on the feeling of performing at their best together."
