10 Of 13 Spirit Of Texas Teams Hit Zero At NCA Showoffs!
10 out of 13 Spirit of Texas teams hit zero at their showoff before NCA All-Star Nationals 2018.
NCA All-Star in Dallas is barely days away, and there’s no rest for the weary (or potential champions).
Spirit of Texas just returned home from a very successful showing at CHEERSPORT Nationals last weekend in Atlanta, and teams are feeling the tight turnaround heading into NCA All-Star; exactly a week later. In Atlanta, all eight of the teams attending hit zero, and five earned CHEERSPORT National titles.
This was a strong start to the season for the gym, who hosted a showcase Thursday evening before NCA kicked off. An impressive 10 out of 13 teams hit zero at the NCA showoff, including a new favorite in the Senior Medium Coed Level 5 division, Royalty.
Spirit of Texas already has 8 bids for their 10 Summit teams, and both of their Worlds teams, A-Team and Royalty, have paid bids to the Cheerleading Worlds in April. The goal of the evening was to hit zero and perform feeling fully supported by the SOT family. Spirit coach Teighlyr Sullivan told us about their mentality behind the showcase tradition.
“We call our gym our safe space. These walls protect you and this family protects you, and you’re safe as long as you’re here…If you can hit it here you can hit it there.”
We're predicting big things from this program so put on some purple and tune in to their performances LIVE on Varsity TV using your FloCheer log in, or head to downtown Dallas for a seat in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center!
