USASF Announces Changes To The Senior XSmall Divisions!

USASF introduced the brand new Senior XSmall & XSmall Coed divisions for the 2017-18 season and it was a MAJOR hit!

In the new division, more all star cheer gyms were given the opportunity to compete at The Cheerleading Worlds 2018 with a decreased team size of 5-14 athletes. The division allowed small gyms to put their best athletes all together on one team.

The support from the cheerleading community was overwhelming.

Today, USASF has announced more updates for the beloved new divisions moving into the 2018-19 season.

The Cheer Worlds Advisory Board made the decision that the best interest of all gyms would be to continue the Senior XSmall and Senior XSmall Coed divisions at Worlds as well as opening participation in those divisions to all programs to be consistent with all other divisions at The Cheerleading Worlds in 2019.

In addition to opening up the Senior XSmall divisions to all gyms, the division will be allowing teams to compete with up to 16 athletes, two more than the previous year.
