Day 1 Pom Recap From The Dance Worlds 2021!
Four Pom divisions are taking on The Dance Worlds 2021 and they are bringing the energy!
And that's a wrap for Day 1 of The Dance Worlds 2021! We are ecstatic to see these teams back on stage, and they are thriving with energy. The Pom divisions brought a lot of enthusiasm to the competition today, and we can't wait to see these athletes give it their all one last time in Finals.
The Semi-Final standings have been announced for the four Pom divisions taking The Dance Worlds stage, and we're in for an exciting Day 2! If you missed these divisions today, don't worry because the Final round is still to come. Check out the performance videos of the leaders from each division!
Dance Mania
Senior Small Pom - 93.88
Dance Mania took on the Senior Small Pom division and gave it their all! Their visuals throughout their routine made the performance stand out and the team did enough to claim the top spot headed into Day 2 with a score of a 93.88.
Dance Mania
Senior Large Pom - 93.96
Dance Mania wowed the fans and judges with their Transformer themed routine from start to finish! The team's synchronization was stunning and led them to receive a Semi-Final score of a 93.96. Be sure to watch them perform in Finals!
South Coast Freestyle
Open Pom - 89.2
South Coast Freestyle brought the energy during their themed Pom routine "Bad." The team looked as one as they executed their turn sequences throughout their performance and they definitely caught the judge's attention! South Coast Freestyle received a Day 1 score of an 89.2.
Velocity Dance WOOP
Open Coed Pom - 78.5
Velocity Dance had everyone on their feet throughout their entertaining "WOOP" routine on Day 1 of The Dance Worlds! The team executed fun pom tricks with insane footwork that kept you on the edge of your seat! Velocity received a score of a 78.5 in Semi-Finals, and you're not going to want to miss them take the Finals stage.
