The time of year we’ve all been waiting for is almost here! The Cheerleading Worlds 2022 is the most anticipated competition of the season and although you’ve been following your favorite teams throughout the year, anything can happen on The Cheerleading Worlds mat!

The Cheerleading Worlds 2022 Bid Recipients will be heading to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on April 23-25th and FloCheer is going to break down every division at The Cheerleading Worlds so that you will know what to expect in Orlando, Florida. 

L6 Senior Small Coed


Division History

The L6 Senior Small Coed is packed with talented coed athletes. Teams will have 22 athletes total on the floor at a time and will include up to five males on the mat. The teams may be smaller but you're sure to see the big skills you love when the L6 Senior Small Coed division kicks off!

In 2021, the Level 6 Senior Small Coed division had 21 teams take the floor at The Cheerleading Worlds with hopes of making it onto the podium. Brandon All-Stars Senior Black took home gold in 2021 as well as in 2016 and 2017.

This division has only had three World Champion teams since 2012 when The California All Stars - Smoed took 4 consecutive titles from 2012-2015. Smoed then earned their fifth title in 2018 before moving to the Global division. Prodigy All Stars - Midnight took gold in 2019.

The competition will be intense in the Level 6 Senior Small Coed Division when 27 coed teams will battle for the globe in 2022.

The Cheerleading Worlds 2021 Results


Gold: Brandon All-Stars - Senior Black

Final Score: 145.8

Senior Black had an incredible year in 2021. The L6 Senior Small Coed team won the 2021 Varsity All Star Triple Crown and earned their third World Championship title!

After scoring an impressive 145.8 to secure their win at The Cheerleading Worlds 2021, BSB will be back to defend their title once again in their home state! 


Silver: Cheer Extreme - Coed Elite

Final Score: 138.8

Coed Elite made some noise ending the year strong taking home the silver medals at The Cheerleading Worlds 2021 with a Final score of 138.8! The team will be competing in the L6 International Open Small Coed division this season and you can guarantee that they will being their best to the competition mat in Orlando.


Bronze: Prodigy All Stars - Midnight

Final Score: 135.75

The Prodigy All Stars Midnight earned a 135.75 to claim the bronze medals at The Cheerleading Worlds 2021. 

Midnight is taking on the L6 Senior Medium Coed division this year and the Texas team is on the hunt to make their way back onto the podium at The Cheerleading Worlds 2022.

JAMfest Cheer Super Nationals

Star Athletics ATL - Smack

Star Athletics ATL Smack started the new year strong and topped the competition in Indianapolis with a Final score of 92.2417. Premiere Athletics Jaws claimed the second-place spot followed by Spirit Athletics Wildcats in third.

CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship

Brandon All-Stars - Senior Black

Brandon All-Stars Senior Black started 2022 by winning the CHEERSPORT National All Star Cheerleading Championship with a 96.7875.  

Macs Allstar Cheer SENIOR STARZ kept Senior Black on their toes all weekend delivering two incredible routines in Atlanta to take second place in the division followed by Star Athletics ATL Smack in third.

NCA All-Star National Championship

Brandon All-Stars - Senior Black

Senior Black kept the hits on repeat at the 2022 NCA All-Star National Championship. The team earned two zero deduction routines to finish the weekend in Dallas with a win and a final score of 97.2667. 

Macs Allstar Cheer SENIOR STARZ grabbed the world's attention with a strong showing to claim second place. Cheer St Louis Archangels ended the weekend in third.

UCA International All Star Championship 

Brandon All-Stars - Senior Black

Back again to dominate, this time at the 2022 UCA International All Star Championship, Brandon Senior Black secured another big win with a 95.6. By winning gold and the coveted black satin jackets, BSB secured their back-to-back Varsity All Star Triple Crown Championship title! 

Top Gun All Stars Guardians took second at UCA followed by World Cup Odyssey in third.


Semi-Finals for the Level 6 Senior Small Coed division will take place on April 23rd followed by Finals on Sunday, April 24th. Who will take home the Level 6 Senior Small Coed title in 2022? Be sure to watch these teams take the floor LIVE only on FloCheer!
