The Dance Worlds 2022 is the most anticipated event of the season and we are on the edge of our seats waiting for the most talented teams to take the stage! Although you’ve been following your favorite teams throughout the year, anything can happen when the Senior Small and Senior Large Hip Hop teams finally take the Dance Worlds floor!

Senior Small Hip Hop & Senior Large Hip Hop
Division History
Without question, Hip Hop is one of the most recognizable and likable dance styles in the world. There’s nothing quite like it: the attitude, the swagger, the beats, and the tricks… Hip Hop has it all!
A championship Hip Hop routine will have street-style movement, incredible execution, mind-blowing creativity, and eye-popping isolations, all while maintaining uniformity within the team. Often, the music choice for a Hip Hop routine is as big of a star as the routine itself, so finding that perfect song to dance to is crucial. One of the biggest challenges for a classically trained dancer is to find the swag and the grit that it takes to truly dive into the Hip Hop style.
At The Dance Worlds 2022, there are a whopping NINE divisions within the category, making it the largest by far. The show is going to be a good one, so make sure you have a good seat!
Teams from all over will be competing against each other in the Senior Small and Senior Large Hip Hop divisions and only one team from each action-packed division will be crowned your 2022 Senior Hip Hop Dance World Champions.

Senior Small Hip Hop
GOLD: Imperial Athletics - Stellar
Final Score: 96.14
In 2021 Imperial Athletics showed us just how amazing they could be! This fierce, female-powered routine scored them the Gold medals with many exciting moments that kept the crowd on their feet throughout the whole routine.
SILVER: Pittsburgh Pride All Stars - Ambush
Final Score: 95.36
For the second year in a row, Ambush Pittsburgh Pride All Stars claimed the silver medals at The Dance Worlds 2022. The northeast team demonstrated strong technique and powerful movements throughout their whole routine.
BRONZE: Legendary Athletics - Senior Elite
Final Score: 94.46
The 2019 Senior Small Hip Hop World Champions, Legendary Athletics Senior Elite, wowed us with some serious heart and drive when taking the floor in 2021. The Florida team is an absolute force in the Senior Small Hip Hop division so you can guarantee that they. are hungry to get back on top of the podium this season.

Senior Large Hip Hop
GOLD: Dollhouse Dance Factory
Final Score: 96.42
In 2021 the Dollhouse Dance Factory did what they do best and became the back-to-back Senior Large Hip Hop World Champions! This team earned this title with intense choreography that was beautifully synchronized formation after formation.
SILVER: Star Performance Centre
Final Score: 95.86
After a year away from the division, Star Performance Centre finished in second place showcasing their talent through big energy and exciting choreography. The difficulty of this routine and the execution of each skill led them to be an easy choice for a spot on the podium and the silver medallions.
BRONZE: Pittsburgh Poison All Stars
Final Score: 94.32
Pittsburgh Poison All Stars took home the bronze medal after putting an amazing routine on the floor. The northeast team is always a top competitor in this division as they've earned a spot on the podium for the fourth year in a row. Their technique and full use of the floor set them apart earning them third place.

NDA All-Star National Championship
Senior Small Hip Hop: Imperial Athletics - Stellar
Imperial Athletics Stellar went back-to-back at NDA All-Star claiming first place with a final score of 95.2050! Legendary Athletics took second at with a 93.2650 followed by Raevin Dance Factory who scored 90.1450.
Senior Large Hip Hop: Legendary Athletics
Legendary Athletics came in first with a fierce performance and a final score of 88.3300. Dance Dynamics took second with a score of 86.0100 followed by Music City All Stars who rounded out the top three with a score of 85.1650.
JAMfest Dance Super Nationals
Senior Small Hip Hop: Dance Force Studios - Vitality
The talent is always impressive at JAMfest Super Nationals and we can't wait to see some of these programs on the podium at The Dance Worlds. Dance Force Studios Vitality scored an 88.0063 securing them the win followed by The Vision Dance Centre who scored an 85.2 and in third was the EPA AllStars ONYX who took third with a final score of 85.5375
Senior Large Hip Hop: Dollhouse Dance Factory
In the Senior Large Hip Hop division, fans were able to see a preview of the talent we will be witnessing on stage at The Dance Worlds in just a few days. Dollhouse Dance Factory came in first with a show-stopping routine and a final score of 92.3562. Adrenaline Studio JOULES took in second at JAMfest scoring a 90.5375 followed by Star Performance Centre scoring an 88.8563.
Prelims for the Senior Small Hip Hop division will take place starting on April 23rd with Semi-Finals continuing on April 24th and Finals wrapping up on Monday, April 25th.
Semi-Finals for the Senior Large division will take place on Sunday, April 24th with Finals rounding out the division on Monday, April 25th.
