Watch out Jersey Shore…the cheerleaders are coming and they’re about to take over! This weekend FloCheer is LIVE at not just one, but TWO Spirit Brands Competitions in Wildwood, New Jersey. So unlike the characters from the infamous Jersey Shore show, there’s more to do in Jersey than just gym, tan, laundry. Add CHEER to that priority list!!!

Saturday, April 16th FloCheer is live streaming the the 3rd competition in the Quest for the Best Series: The Shore Showdown. This full day of competition covers the spectrum in divisions. There will be teams of all levels including all stars, school teams, prep teams and rec teams competing. Toward the end of the day there will also be individual competition as well as stunt group competition.
Sunday, April 17th is the Beast of the East competition and once again FloCheer will be right there to get all the action LIVE! This event teams will compete for the Title of Beast of the East! Grand Champions in each division will be named Beast of the East and they will each get a hoodie!

One all star program that you can watch LIVE on both days is local favorite, Jersey Wild All Stars from Hamilton, New Jersey. They are a young all star program that has found great success. Gary Luthe is their main coach and is truly adored by his athletes. An interesting tidbit about Coach Gary is that he didn’t start out in the cheer world. He was a union worker, turned cheerleading DJ. Luckily for the Jersey Wild teams he eventually found a love for cheer. He now eats, sleeps and breathes the sport!

These Jersey Wild cheerleaders know how to have fun and they are definitely ready to hit the shore AND the floor!

This competition also hosts quite the line up of Rec teams. Rockland Rave is a premier Rec cheer group who comes out once a year to the Spirit Brands Wildwood competitions. Typically they collect first place wins and grand champion titles all season long. Tune in to FloCheer to see if they will be named the Beast of the East!
