We have been reminiscing on the 2019-2020 season all summer long and we wanted to take a moment to recognize some of the talented D2 programs that made a big impact on the cheer community this year.

Our trip to Southern Athletics in Pearl, Mississippi was one of a kind! From the moment we walked through their doors, the gym was overflowing with hard working kids, passionate coaches and a work ethic that never fades. We captured some incredible photos during our visit, so take a look!

The small gym, Southern Athletics out of Pearl, Mississippi, has beaten the odds in the past and they’re looking to improve even more this season. It’s not every day you see a team who has only been in existence for two years become a highly competitive team at The Cheerleading Worlds championship!
